As our name implies, at uncommon conferences we do things... differently. And that means we're not for everyone.
Here are 5 reasons why we might not be a good fit for you:
1. You don't really know why you're hosting a gathering
We're very persistent with getting you to identify your objectives & desired outcomes. "Because we've always had an annual conference" is not a good starting point for an uncommon experience.
2. You just want "exciting format ideas"
Form follows function, always. We don't even start thinking about the format of a gathering until we know why and what for. And no, you don’t have to organise a hybrid event - in fact, it’s probably better if you don’t.
3. You don't really have time to work on a conference or gathering
We co-create the end-to-end experience with you. Which means, we'll be putting you to work. No regrets, though, promise!
4. You're after a one-way experience
It might be for educational purposes or "that's just how our industry is", but if you're looking to put on something where one person talks and everyone else listens, for hours on end, then that’s not us. We’re about harnessing the collective experience in the r(Z)oom.
5. You're struggling to find the money
It probably means your gathering isn't really needed at all, or at least, not in the way you think it is. It's just "nice to have". And maybe that's because it’s missing complexity or urgency (and the solutions are likely found on YouTube).
In summary, our passion is designing and delivering vivid, purposeful gatherings that are about collective discovery, discussion, debate and decisions.
This might mean we're not for everyone, and that’s okay 🙂
